The first step in our shed building process is the inaugural meeting with the customer. This meeting will cover the basic wants of the client. After this meeting comes the design of the shed via AutoCAD. From this design we will be able to construct an accurate material list and inform the customer of the permits they need to obtain. We will then consult with the customer again to ensure that the shed is designed the way that the customer wishes. Our next step is to create a precise estimate by contacting the vendor and requesting prices on materials. The customer will then call the vendor and pay for the materials.
Once the materials arrive the students begin constructing the shed at the school. This consists of portions such as framing and sheathing the floor, walls, and roof, as well as roofing and installing doors and windows. Upon completion the shed will be delivered to the client’s site.
